Acerca de F Fentanilo
En respuesta al impacto devastador del fentanilo y otras sustancias en la comunidad de Miami, Thomas Guerra fundó la organización "F Fentanyl" (también conocida como "Fuck Fentanyl", "Fight Fentanyl") en 2023. Su objetivo es brindar apoyo a las personas. que consumen drogas (PWUD), independientemente de que busquen recuperarse o no, con el fin último de prevenir las muertes por sobredosis. Su enfoque enfatiza las estrategias de reducción de daños para reducir los riesgos asociados con el consumo de drogas, al tiempo que proporciona recursos para aquellos que eligen buscar la recuperación. El mensaje es claro: debemos tomar medidas para luchar contra los peligros del fentanilo y otras sustancias nocivas.

Thomas Guerra, MS
Founder, President and CEO

Thomas Guerra is a person in long term recovery since 2014. He graduated from Florida International University (FIU) with a Master’s degree in Mental Health Counseling. He also received his Bachelor’s degree in Psychology from FIU in 2015. During his time as a graduate student, he founded Panthers for Recovery, a student organization dedicated to helping students in recovery. From 2018 to 2021, Thomas worked as a therapist at South Miami Recovery. Thomas founded Miami Recovery Project in 2020, one of Miami's first recovery community organizations. In 2023, he founded F Fentanyl out of necessity in fighting the overdose crisis. Thomas’ favorite accomplishment is being a father to his kids, Anthony, 8, and Anabella, 10. His personal recovery has allowed him to be present for his family and help others do the same.

Yamila (Yami) of Yaya Por Vida Yamila is a first-generation , Miami Born and raised Cuban American native to Miami who has lived in Dade for the past 34 years. She has been involved in work on substance use disorders, mental health and DEI as it relates to health gaps in Miami for the past four years through her women-led, Latina owned nonprofit Yaya Por Vida. She is a Radical Partners BIPOC Neighborhood Heroes Cohort 4 graduate, SUSTAIN UH Learn HR Cohort Graduate, member of Florida Harm Reduction Collective, holds a BF from AIMIU and has now expanded art-based healing and harm-reduction focused outreach beyond Miami Dade into Martin, St. Lucie, Okeechobee and Indian River Counties in Florida.

Miller Myers, a Miami native, brings many years of long-term recovery to the table. He still regularly attends 12 step meetings and has a sponsor and sponsees. Miller hosts The Addiction and Mental Health Show, a twice monthly Podcast Video. He also heads his own non-profit, MiamiConnect.org to connect provider resources. Miller is committed to service to give back what he has been so freely given.
Amanda Nicol, a seasoned professional with over twenty years of experience, has a proven track record in developing successful partnerships across nonprofit and corporate sectors. Her distinguished collaborations with industry giants like Google, Microsoft, and US Rowing testify to her exceptional partnership development skills. As a partnership manager for an e-commerce digital marketing agency, she was key in expanding significant relationships with companies like UPS.
Amanda's entrepreneurial spirit led her to launch her own e-commerce and wholesale jewelry company, which garnered significant recognition. Her products have been featured in prestigious stores such as Kirna Zabête, Tomorrowland Japan, Fred Segal, Ron Herman, and Sundance Catalog. Her entrepreneurial ventures' success has been further amplified by her reissuing her showcase collection for the MoMA Design Store and featuring it in notable publications like the New York Times.
Amanda is actively involved with F-Fent.org, leading initiatives to combat the opioid crisis through community engagement and education.
Amanda Nicol also founded Partnr305 in May of 2022, a consultancy that supports sustainable luxury brands focusing on humanitarian and environmental solutions. This initiative reflects her deep commitment to sustainable development and community well-being. Amanda's extensive work in recovery advocacy, partnership development, and sustainability positions her as a pivotal leader in both professional and community realms. Her leadership is instrumental in driving significant improvements in community welfare and tackling critical challenges.
Amanda Nicol holds a Bachelor of Fine Arts (BFA) degree from Tufts University and the School of the Museum of Fine Arts, Boston. She completed a Mini MBA from Rutgers Business School and studied Business Retail Management at the Fashion Institute of Technology. Amanda also holds certifications from the Gemological Institute of America (GIA), including Graduate Colored Stones and Graduate Diamonds.

His leadership and strategic vision play a crucial role in the success and seamless execution of shore excursions, enhancing the travel adventures for passengers in diverse and captivating destinations.
Beyond his professional accomplishments, David is motivated by personal ties to recovery, particularly through his brother's inspiring journey of overcoming obstacles. This dual commitment reflects not only his professional acumen but also his compassionate dedication to making a positive impact both within and beyond the cruise industry.
